Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights is already one of the biggest attractions in the theme park industry, but it is adding another marquee haunted house for the 2018 edition of the event.
Horror fans need to get ready for Dead Exposure: Patient Zero.
The Dead Exposure haunted house originally arrived at Halloween Horror Nights in the past, but the revamped version will shake guests to their core this year. The facility is completely soaked in darkness with only bright flashes of light illuminating the zombies coming toward visitors.
Universal Orlando’s team of horror experts are transporting guests to Paris in 1982 where zombies have taken over the city and power outages are widespread. The military is asking those who haven’t become zombies to get a vaccination, but the side effect is blindness.
Guests who want to make it out of the revitalized haunted house will be lost in darkness as the undead hunt for them. The Dead Exposure: Patient Zero attraction is the first original house announced for this year’s event.
The 2018 edition of Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights will run on select nights between September 14 through November 3. The theme park is offering travelers who buy one ticket to the event are eligible to receive the second night free.
Earlier this month, Universal Orlando announced that Netflix’s Stranger Things is coming to Halloween Horror Nights this fall.
